The Oak Ridge Senior Center is having an open house from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today (Friday).

Several changes have taken place at the center, a press release said. They include recovering the game room’s billiards tables and adding new programs and activities.

“Come in to see all the exciting changes and find out how you can be a part of the Oak Ridge Senior Center either as a participant or a volunteer,” the release said.

The Center is open to everyone age 50 and older. Finger food refreshments will be offered at noon.

“Feel to come down at any time between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday,” the release said.

The Oak Ridge Senior Center is located at 728 Emory Valley Road. The hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday; and 8:30 to 4:30 on Friday.

For more information about this or other programs, call the Oak Ridge Senior Center at (865) 425-3999 or visit the website at www.orrecparks.org.
