Sandra Jenkins, age 67, of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Sandra loved children, and took care of them through most of her life. She was a member of Clinton Church of Christ.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, William and Gladys Freeman; husband, James Jenkins; daughter, Kim Noe; and brother, Johnny Freeman.

Sandra is survived her son, Doug Jenkins and Dee Dee of Oliver Springs; daughters, Tina Poore and husband Danial of Clinton, Tammy Brummett and husband Jeff of Clinton; sister, Sharon Shoopman of Clinton; and 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Sandra’s family received her friends on Sunday, Nov. 3, from 2–3 p.m., with her memorial service following at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. Richard Bentley officiating. Sandra’s interment will be private.
