Mark Wayne Murdock

Mark Wayne Murdock, age 56, of Oak Ridge, passed away on Oct. 28, 2013.

He was born to parents Lindy Massey and Viola Mavis Hughes Murdock on Dec. 18, 1956, in Phoenix, Ariz.

Mark was owner of Kitchen Karma and a patented inventor who was an all-around good Samaritan, having had a true missionary spirit.

He was preceded in death by his son Lindy and his brother-in-law Spank Smallwood.

Mark is survived by his parents, Lindy Massey Murdock and Viola Mavis Murdock; wife, Rebecca Murdock; sons, Kevin Murdock and wife Joscelynn, Benjamin Williford, and Tom Coleman; daughter, Kimmie Coleman Tubbs; brother, Robert Murdock and wife Vickie Duncan-Murdock; sisters, Melody Smallwood, and Janie Shipley and husband Wayne; and grandson, Zander Murdock.

The family requests that donations be made in the memory of Mark to the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1650 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge, TN 37830.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 6–8 p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary. An online guest book may be signed at weatherfordmortuary.com.
