Kathleen Elaine Gilmore, age 59, a resident of Harriman, passed away Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, at the Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.
Mrs. Gilmore was born May 21, 1954, in Harriman. She moved to California at an early age, moving back to Tennessee in 1980.
She worked as a customer service representative for Sitel of Oak Ridge.
Kathleen loved life, enjoyed laughter, and spending time with her family. Her hobbies included dancing, art work, oil painting, crocheting, and sewing.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Charles Gilmore; by parents, Seburn Pryor and Roxie McFarland Pryor; by a brother, Wayne Pryor; and by sisters, Carolyn Cunningham and Mary Ann Pryor.
She is survived by sons, Eddie Gilmore Jr. and Tyler Gilmore, both of Harriman; and by daughters, Angie Vann and husband Don of Wartburg, Hollie Wright of Oak Ridge, Jacquelyn Bender and husband Bobby of Harriman, and Jennifer Turcotte of Oregon.
Kathleen is also survived by five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and by brothers, David Pryor of Harriman, and Bill Pryor and wife Mary Flo of St. Cloud, Fla.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Oct. 17, between 5 and 7 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs. A private celebration of life service will take place at a later date.
