Jimmy Pond, age 66, a resident of Knoxville, formerly of Clinton, passed away Friday, Aug. 23, at Turkey Creek Medical Center.

Mr. Pond was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Lee Pond.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Pond of Knoxville; daughter, Charlene Moyers and husband Scott of Knoxville; and grandchildren, Scott and Sara Moyers, Jacob and Zachary Pond.

At Mr. Pond’s request, he was cremated and no funeral services are planned.

Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs is serving the Pond family.
