Thelma Elizabeth Rink

Thelma Elizabeth Rink, better known as Terry, age 84, of Clinton, passed away Thursday, July 25, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.

Terry enjoyed life to the fullest, loved her cat Patches, and loved playing bingo. She worked at Ace Hardware on Market Street in Clinton from 1993-2007.

Terry was preceded in death by her husband, Erick George Rink; parents, William T. Bulmer and Iva Margaret Matilda Newman Bulmer; brothers, Earl Hughes, Mossam (Lucky) Hughes, and Rae Abbey; sister, Margaret Della Marie Keusch; and brothers-in-law, George Keusch and Frank Crisologo.

Terry is survived by her sister, Beverly Crisologo of Canada; sister-in-law, Lena Hughes of Canada; nieces, Deborah Fisher of Clinton, Linda V. Kube and husband Manfred Kube of Norris, and Katherine J. Taylor of Clinton; great-nephews, Brandon K. Fisher and wife Jena, Travis P. Vaughn and wife Kristi, and Jake P. Taylor, all of Clinton; and great-great-nieces and nephew, Paige, Parker, and Emma Vaughn, and great-great-niece, Audrey Fisher, all of Clinton. She is also survived by her dear friends, Tommy Thurman, Susie Yonce, Arlen and Barbara Kuntz, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Terry’s family received her friends on Wednesday, July 31, from 6 to 7 p.m., and her celebration of life followed at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. Tom Byrge officiating.
