This year’s sales tax holiday in Tennessee started at 12:01 a.m today (Friday) and ends at 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
Among the items that are tax-free are clothing that is $100 or less per item, school supplies of $100 or less per item, and computers that are $1,500 or less.
The sales tax holiday is held every year on the first Friday in August and ends the following Sunday night. For more information, visit http://tn.gov/revenue/salestaxholiday/.
