Hazel Thomasine “Tommy” Huffman Foust

Hazel Thomasine “Tommy” Huffman Foust, 82, of Oak Ridge, passed away Friday, July 26, at Methodist Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 25, 1930, in Pulaski, Va., to Robert T. Huffamn and Hazel Winifred Hufford Huffman. She was a homemaker and a member of the Harriman Church of God. She loved music, and was an accomplished soloist. Tommy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and loved camping and gardening.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Charles “Frank” Foust, who passed away Tuesday, July 9; son Timothy Foust,; grandson Aaron Foust; and brothers Robert J. and Barry Huffman.

Tommy is survived by her sons Kevin Foust and his wife Cheri of Harriman, and Kim Foust of Tampa, Fla.; grandchildren, Kevin Foust II and Alex Foust, both of Harriman; and great-grandson Kolton; and sister, Patsy Spears and husband Richard of Concord.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, July 31, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Ottis Ball and Rev. James Bandy officiating. A graveside service will be held Thursday, Aug. 1, at 11 a.m. at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
