She was extremely intoxicated and was outside on her porch wearing only a shirt when Oliver Springs police arrived, and neighbors said she had been completely naked a few minutes earlier, authorities said.

Crystal J. Wombles, 35, of Crystal Lane in Oliver Springs, was not wearing “bottoms or underwear…showing her bottom private parts to children and the neighbors,” Oliver Springs Police Department Patrolman Nathaniel W. Nelson said in an incident report. The neighbors had instructed their kids to go inside, the patrolman said.

Wombles allegedly refused to put her clothes on and tried to bite Nelson on the arm while he was arresting her Monday night and again at the Anderson County Detention Facility in Clinton, where she refused to get out of the vehicle, the report said. On the way to jail, Wombles removed her cuffs and tried to open the vehicle door and escape, the report said. She also allegedly tried to kick officers at the jail.

While being placed under arrest in Oliver Springs, Nelson said, Wombles dropped a small brown tin with two bags of a green leafy substance, suspected to be marijuana, along with rolling papers and a lighter.

She was charged with aggravated assault, escape, public intoxication, resisting arrest, possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia, and indecent exposure.

Wombles has a court hearing scheduled for Aug. 29. She remained jailed Wednesday night, and her bond has been set at $10,000, according to jail records.

Just my opinion on the ” green leafy substance, suspected to be marijuana,” I bet if it was marijuana, it was laced with something else or maybe a synthetic drug or marijuana.
