Mary Ruth Webb

Mary Ruth Webb, age 71, of Clinton, passed away on Saturday, April 13, at Fort Sanders Hospital.

Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and enjoyed her great-grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and her dog Nikki. Mary was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dowell and Margaret Williams, and her husband of 52 years, Herbert Webb.

Mary is survived by her son, Ricky Webb and wife  Sherry, of Andersonville; daughter, Donna McCarter and husband Charles, of Sevierville; brothers, Dow Williams and wife Janice, of Clinton, Eddie Williams and wife Jan, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; sister, Polly Simpson and husband Jim, of Lutz, Fla.; grandchildren, Greg Hampton and wife Brooke, Courtney Webb, Ashley Frey and husband Jordon, Alisha and Andrew Enix; and great-grandchildren, Parker Thomson, Kevin, Addison, and Eden Hampton, Kandon Leinart, and one great-grandchild on the way.

Mary’s wishes were to have a private family viewing and be cremated after the gathering.

Jones Mortuary in Clinton was in charge of all arrangements.
