Julia M. Trammell

Julia M. Trammell, age 82, of Clinton, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, at the Golden Living Center, Windwood of Clinton.

Julia was a long time member of North Clinton Baptist Church, where she loved attending and fellowshipping. She loved attending the ladies’ prayer group, as well as cooking for the church. Julia also enjoyed gardening, going to the lake, and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Lyons; husband, Lewis Trammell; brother, Jerry Lyons; and granddaughter, April Hughes.

Julia is survived by her sons, Tony Trammell and wife Jane of Clinton, and Michael Trammell and wife Sharon of Knoxville; sisters, Pearl Hammoc of Norris and Betty Moore of Oak Ridge; grandsons, Scott and Terry Hughes; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Julia’s family will receive her friends on Saturday, April 13, from 12 to 2 p.m. in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with her funeral service at 2. Her interment will follow her funeral at Sinking Springs Methodist Church cemetery in Clinton.
