First United Methodist Church and Trinity Out-Reach Center of Hope, or TORCH, are hosting a forum on homelessness from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The free forum will be at First United Methodist Church in Oak Ridge.

“The forum will bring together experts from local social service agencies, who will discuss the many contributing factors that lead to homelessness and how we can be agents for change in our community,” a press release said.

A light breakfast will be provided, and child care will be available.

For more information, or to reserve child care, call Crystal Smith at (865) 483-4357 or Sheila Michel at (865) 310-0130.

First United Methodist Church is at 1350 Oak Ridge Turnpike.
