Margaret P. Williams

Margaret P. Williams, age 90, passed away Tuesday, March 12, at her son’s residence in Surfside Beach, S.C.

Margaret was of the Baptist faith. She loved animals, flowers, and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Clara (Barlow) Perry; husband, Dowell Williams; brother, James Perry; sisters, Helen Bryant, Nellie Powell, Marie Snow, Edna Bradshaw, and Anna Mae Perry, one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Margaret is survived by her sons, Dow Williams and wife Janice, of Clinton, George Williams and wife Janice, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; daughters, Mary Webb of Clinton, Pauline Simpson and husband Jim, of Lutz, Fla.; brother George W. Perry of Lake City; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Margaret’s family will receive her friends on Friday, March 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. with her funeral service following at 8 in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Bro. Robert Jones officiating.

Her interment will be Saturday, March 16, at 11 a.m. at Sunset Cemetery in Clinton.
