Kevin Eugene Samples

Kevin Eugene Samples, age 38, of Powell, passed away Saturday, March 9, at home surrounded by his family.

Kevin was a 1992 graduate of Powell High School. He enjoyed listening to music and was an avid reader when he wasn’t with his family or friends.

Kevin was of the Baptist faith. He was a big-hearted person who would do anything for anybody and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Kevin is preceded in death by his dad, Thomas E. Samples; and grandparents, Lawrence and Irma Collins, and James and Lola Mae Samples

Kevin is survived by his mother, Maria C. Samples; brother and sister-in-law, Todd and Karen Samples; sisters, Teri Samples and Amy Samples; nephews, Jonathon and Joshua Samples; nieces, Christina, Neyland, and Katie Samples; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends too many to mention; and the love of his life and fiancé Sarah Teets, whom he loved very much.

Kevin’s family will receive his friends on Wednesday, March 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. with his celebration of life following at 8 p.m. in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. Mike Greene and Michael Greene officiating. His interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to a charity of your choice.

Jones Mortuary in is in charge of all arrangements.
