Darolyn Faye Roberts

Darolyn Faye Roberts, age 76, a resident of Oliver Springs, passed away Friday, March 1, at Methodist Medical Center.

Faye was born April 16, 1936, in Oliver Springs. She was a lifelong resident of this area.

She was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Elmer Qualls and Sarah Taylor Qualls; by her husband, Robert Roberts; by a son, Dewey Wayne Bowling; and by sisters, Betty Qualls Crabtree and Jeanie Qualls.

Fay is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Grant of Lamar, S.C.; by sons, Kenneth Bowling and wife Stephania, of Chuckey, Tenn., and Randall Cushen of Clifton, Tenn.; and by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by three brothers, James Qualls and wife Helen of Clinton, Joseph Qualls and wife Josephine of Oliver Springs, and Ronnie Qualls and wife Irene of Powell; and by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and special friends.

Graveside services and burial were held Sunday, March 3, at Mineral Springs Cemetery with Pastor Terry Braden officiating.
