Terry Allen Bivens

Terry Allen Bivens, age 42, a resident of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 27.

Mr. Bivens was born April 29, 1970, in Knoxville. He was a lifelong resident of this area.

He was a certified electrician who was employed at Broadway Electric for the past 12 years. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, local # 760.

Terry enjoyed outdoor activities, including fishing and hunting, and he also enjoyed watching Nascar.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ellis Bivens; by his grandmother, Jean Elkins; by his father-in-law, Jack Davis; and by a brother-in-law, Kim Davis.

Terry is survived by his wife, Melissa Davis Bivens of Clinton; by daughters, Ashley Sartin of Clinton and Krishna McGee of Oliver Springs; by his mother, Sue Bivens of Knoxville; and by grandchildren, Hunter Dunlap, Anthony Dunlap, and Xander Ledford.

He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Phyllis Davis of Clinton, and by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members.

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 3, between 6 and 8 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Robert Combs officiating.

Burial and graveside services will be held Monday, March 4, at 11 a.m. at the Long Cemetery in the Dutch Valley Community of Anderson County. An online guest book is available at www.sharpfh.com. Sharp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
