Oak Ridge Today has added a voluntary subscription option at the end of posts and an upcoming events widget on the home page.

You don’t have to subscribe to read our stories. But please consider subscribing voluntarily if you like what we are doing on Oak Ridge Today. We do our best to deliver the news quickly and comprehensively, and to keep the community informed, posting news, obituaries, opinions, faith columns, event information, and entertainment and sports stories.

Thank you to those who have already subscribed.

We have grown significantly in our first year, and your participation will help us continue to grow and provide even more information.

We currently offer three subscription levels: $5, $10, or $25 per month. We accept check and PayPal payments.

Here are some reasons why we think you should consider supporting us:

  • We do our best to post the news as quickly as possible. We always strive to be fair and accurate.
  • We post news about local events in one central location.
  • We’re locally owned and operated, a small business based in Oak Ridge.
  • We are environmentally friendly.

Please see our subscription page for more information.

The upcoming events widget that we have added is at the bottom of the right sidebar. It lists the next five upcoming events, and it provides links to our events calendar, which we added last summer.

Please let us know if you have any questions or comments, and thank you for reading Oak Ridge Today.
