Letha Russell

Letha Russell, age 69, of Clinton, passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, at Golden Living Center-Windwood in Clinton.

Letha enjoyed sewing, yard sales, flower gardening, reading, and playing with great-grandchildren.

Letha was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Laura Nolan, sons James Lee Pointer and Clarence Anthony Pointer Jr., and sister Laney Nolan.

Letha is survived by her daughter Terisa Diane Lyons of Clinton; brothers Leon Nolan and special sister-in-law Lois of Clinton; Avon Nolan of Clinton, Layman Nolan and wife Mary of Clinton, Lynn Nolan of Clinton and Larry Nolan of Clinton; sisters Linda Dotson and Lena Carter of Clinton, and Mattie Carpenter of Georgia; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, plus one on the way, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Letha’s family received her friends on Saturday, Feb. 16, and her funeral service followed in the chapel of Jones Mortuary in Clinton. Letha’s interment will be private.

Jones Mortuary in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
