Tara Snellings

Tara Snellings, age 43, of Lake City, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, at her residence.

She loved playing basketball, softball, and was a huge fan of the Washington Redskins. Tara was a big lover of animals.

She was preceded in death by her father, John H. Snellings; daughter, Amber Marie Snellings; and grandparents, Archie and Katherine Snellings, and Howard and Lassie Tweed.

Tara is survived by her mother, Sue White of Lake City; brothers, John W. Snellings and wife Melissa of Clinton, Dustin White and wife Nicole of Clinton, and Adam White of Lake City; and sisters, Tammy Snellings of Clinton, Kim Cook and husband Johnathan of Lake City, and Jennifer Norman and husband Troy of Powell. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Tara’s family and friends met for her graveside service on Monday, Feb. 11, at Clinch River Baptist Church cemetery in Lake City with Rev. Larry Webster and Rev. Tom Byrge officiating.

Jones Mortuary in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
