Roger Dale Braden

Roger Dale Braden, age 62, a resident of the Frost Bottom Community, passed away Friday, Feb. 1, at his home.

Mr. Braden was born Feb. 17, 1950, in Oliver Springs. He was a lifelong resident of this area.

Roger worked as an auto parts store manager at Autowise Auto Part Store in Oak Ridge, at Mid State Auto Parts and Premier Automotive Color in Alcoa before his disability.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom Braden and Sibyl McCoy Braden, and by a sister, Barbara Lloyd.

Roger is survived by a brother, David Braden and his wife Betty of Frost Bottom; by his former wife, Tammy Braden of Oak Ridge; and by a daughter, Ashley McKinney and husband Chris of Knoxville.

He is also survived by a special niece, Debra Ebbert and family; and by several friends, including a special friend, Charles Michael Brown.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, Feb. 5, between 6 and 8 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Tom Byrge officiating.

Burial and graveside services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 2 p.m. at the Frost Bottom Cemetery.
