Information from WYSH Radio
An Anderson County school bus was involved in a traffic accident Wednesday morning in South Clinton.
A car reportedly pulled in front of bus #14 from David Road onto Blockhouse Valley Road and was struck by the bus, which was carrying approximately 15 to 20 students to Clinton Middle and High School, according to school officials.
The driver of the car, whose name was not immediately available, was taken to a local hospital by ambulance for treatment of their injuries. Aside from one student who complained of a bloody nose from hitting the seat in front of them in the crash, no students were injured, and they were able to continue on to school. The bus driver was also unhurt in the collision, which remains under investigation. As soon as we get more information, we will pass it along to you.
