Four people were injured, three were ejected or partially ejected, and firefighters had to extricate two after two vehicles collided on Oak Ridge Turnpike on Sunday afternoon.
The crash occurred east of Laboratory Road near the entrance to Home Depot at about 3:08 p.m. Sunday.
An Oak Ridge Police Department crash report said the two drivers and two passengers—Charles E. Brooks, 83; Derick S. Coapman, 22; Faith M. Goncalves, 22; and Daniel W. Coapman, 27—were reported in stable condition at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville at the time of the report.

A westbound Cadillac Catera driven by Charles E. Brooks of Clinton veered into oncoming lanes and had a head-on collision with a Jeep Cherokee driven eastbound by Derick S. Coapman on Oak Ridge Turnpike on Sunday, authorities said.
The report said Brooks, of Clinton, was westbound on the Oak Ridge Turnpike in his 2001 Cadillac Catera sedan when he slowly veered into oncoming traffic, colliding head-on with an eastbound 1996 Jeep Cherokee driven by Derick Coapman, also of Clinton. Brooks was wearing a seat belt and lap belt and was not ejected, but he had apparent injuries, the report said.
The other driver and passengers were not using safety equipment, the report said. Derick Coapman and Goncalves, who were in the front driver and passenger seat of the Cherokee, which rolled, were partially ejected through side windows and had to be extricated with apparent injuries.
