Dennis Martin Klender

Dennis Martin Klender, age 54, of Andersonville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, at the Methodist Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 17, 1958, in DuBois, Pa., the son of Matthew and Mary Eleene Burton Klender.

Mr. Klender loved nature and the outdoors. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and woodworking. Family was very important to Mr. Klender, and he and his wife cherished spending time with children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Brenda Wade Klender; son, Nathan Wade and wife Marcia of Oak Ridge; daughters, Robin Grubbs and husband Roger of Summerville, Pa., and Jamie Wade of Oak Ridge; brothers, Steve Klender, and Patrick Klender and wife Donna of Reynoldsville, Pa., and Mike Klender and wife Cathy of Weedville, Pa.; sisters, Rita Manners of Rochester, N.Y., and Janet Klender, and Ann-Marie Philp and husband Phil, all of Reynoldsville, Pa.; and five grandchildren, Corey Zents, Colton Wade, Misty Ransom, Katie Wade, and Hunter Wade.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, Jan. 13, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary. The funeral will follow at 6 p.m. with Deacon Dan Hosford officiating.

A graveside service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
