Marscella “Marcy” Lynne Adams

Marscella “Marcy” Lynne Adams, age 56, of Oak Ridge, passed away Thursday, Dec. 27.

Marcy was born Nov. 26, 1956, in Munich, Germany, to Jimmy and Beulah Adams.

She was a contract specialist for the Edison School of Knoxville.

Marcy was a member of Central Baptist Church and enjoyed doing crafts, especially making floral arrangements, and she was an avid reader.

She was preceded in death by her son, Lyle L. Lunde Jr. and her brother, Jimmy Alton Adams.

Marcy is survived by her parents Jimmy and Beulah Brewer Adams of Clinton; a daughter Christina M. Lunde of Boston, Mass.; a son, Jerry Lunde of Washington; grandchildren Cody and Jeremy; uncles, Bruce Brewer and his wife Peggy, Bert Brewer and his wife Wilda; and brother-in-law Jess Moore.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held Thursday, Jan. 3, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Ellis officiating.
