Roane State to offer extended business hours after holidays

Roane State Community College campuses will offer extended business hours after the holiday break to help students get ready for the start of spring classes.

Roane State has been closed since Dec. 15 and will be closed through Tuesday, Jan. 1, for the holidays. All campuses will reopen on Wednesday, Jan. 2.

Extended hours for the Roane County and Oak Ridge campuses will be:

  • Saturday, Jan. 12—10 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Monday, Jan. 14-Thursday, Jan. 17—8 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Jan. 22-Wednesday, Jan. 23—8 a.m.-6:30 p.m.

The Roane County and Oak Ridge campuses will maintain usual business hours (8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) on Fridays.

The Campbell, Fentress, Loudon, and Morgan campuses are usually on a Monday-Thursday schedule. From Jan. 2 until Jan. 18, they will also be open on Fridays (8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. local time).

The Cumberland and Scott campuses will operate on their normal schedule (8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. local time, Monday-Friday).

Spring classes begin Jan. 17.
