About 80 workers will lose their jobs at an Advance Auto Parts warehouse facility on Mountain Road in Andersonville, according to WYSH Radio in Clinton.
Advance Auto Parts said Friday that the company will move its low-demand products that were housed only in the Andersonville warehouse to other distribution facilities around the country. Ten to 15 employees will remain at the East Tennessee facility, but the move will cost about 80 people their jobs, WYSH said.
The company said full-time workers who lose their jobs will be offered a severance package and job placement help. The remaining positions will be filled based upon seniority and qualifications, the radio station said.

I’m so sorry to hear about the warehouse closing. Our family uses Advance products on a regular basis and it is sad to see more people loosing their jobs durring this very difficult time in our economy. I hope the severance package is enough to get them through until they can hopefully find another job soon.

Very sad ,inless than 4 years we will all lose healthcare as we knew it.And we will go to rationing for the elite 1st and then the serfs(Us) ,will have make do on what is left over after the elected officials have what they want. They have plundered our country and this is just the tip of the iceberg folks . It’s not ever going to get better .I loved America when we used to live there though. Now it;s gone.

A correction: The Advance Auto Parts warehouse in Andersonville is not closing, but the company does expect to eliminate about 80 jobs at the facility.
