AARP driver safety classes in Oak Ridge, Knoxville

AARP Driver Safety Classes are being offered in Oak Ridge this week and again later this month.

The classes this week are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the Oak Ridge Senior Center at 728 Emory Valley Road.

The classes later this month are from noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 24 and 25 in the Cheyenne Conference Room at 984 Oak Ridge Turnpike.

The first class is Knoxville this month is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 20 at American Red Cross at 6921 Middlebrook Pike. The second class is from noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 25 and 26 at Halls Senior Center at 4200 Crippen Road.

Other classes are being offered in Loudon and Morristown.

    I hope there i a discussion about ADA Handicapped Parking and the neglect by Oak Ridge Police to enforce illegal Parking in Handicapped spaces. Also businesses who viiolate handicapped signage laws.
