Rose Ellen Manners

Rose Ellen Manners, age 48, a resident of Wartburg, passed away Monday, July 30, at her home.

Mrs. Manners was born Aug. 23, 1963 in Wayne County, Michigan. She has lived in Tennessee since 1991.

She was a homemaker, a faithful Christian, and a member of the New Life Apostolic Church in Mossy Grove.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Manners; by her parents, Arnold Edward McGinnis and Eva Sue Cline McGinnis; and by a sister, Diana Seay.

Rose is survived by her stepmother, Debbie McGinnis of Wartburg; by sisters, Pamela Watts and husband Mike of Oakdale, Rhonda Jones and husband Ronnie of Wartburg, Tammy West of Wartburg, Carol Lay of Sunbright, and Faith Gann and husband Johnny of Harriman; and by a brother, Ronald Huser of Michigan.

She is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews, 18 great-nieces and great-nephews, and her church family at New Life Apostolic Church.

The family received friends Thursday, Aug. 2, between 6 and 8 p.m. at the New Life Apostolic Church in the Mossy Grove community in Morgan County. The funeral followed at 8 p.m. in the church with Rev. Anthony Pemberton officiating.

Burial and graveside services will be held Friday, August 3, at 11:00 a.m. at the Morgan Memorial Gardens in Wartburg.
