The Boys Club Alumni Association will be working Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to update the press box and concession stand for the club’s upcoming football season.

The Alumni is working to revitalize the program and has partnered with Greg Palmer from Tennessee Tool and Engineering to purchase all new helmets and uniforms, according to an e-mail from Alumni President Aaron Wells.

“It is our goal to bring Oak Ridge football back to being the premier program in Tennessee,” Wells said.

The association is asking for help with the Saturday morning project. Any tools that are brought will be put to use, Wells said, including paint brushes and rollers, weedeaters, drills, hammers, ladders, and any other equipment that might be used to repair the facilities.

For specific project questions and to RSVP, contact Wells at (865) 898-7471.
