Oliver Springs has a new city manager.
The Oliver Springs Town Council agreed last week to offer the job to Tina Treece, a former city recorder and interim city manager in Spring City, and she has accepted, according to WYSH Radio in Clinton.
Treece started Monday.
She will earn $37,500 a year, WYSH said.
Oliver Springs had been searching for a city manager after David Bolling resigned earlier this year to accept a similar post in Maine.
Two people had previously been offered the job but backed out for various reasons during the four-month-long search, WYSH said.
Interim Oliver Springs city manager Becky Campbell will return to her earlier post as an administrative assistant at City Hall.
