Jerry Ridenour, age 65 of Clinton, Tenn., passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012 at his residence.
Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and he loved being with his grandchildren. He enjoyed motorcycles, going to the river, where he loved to fish, and spending time in the family’s cabin.
Jerry was the owner of City Glass in Clinton and Lafollette Glass in Lafollette,Tenn.
He served our country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father, James Ridenour, and sister, Patsy Banch.
He is survived by his mother, Annis Ridenour of Clinton; wife, Rita Ridenour of Clinton; sons, Jerry Ridenour and wife Tracey of Clinton, and Jimmy Ridenour of Clinton; and sister, Darlene Peery of Clinton. Jerry also leaves behind four grandchildren, Jacob, Allison, Sara, and Hanna; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Jerry’s family will receive his friends on Wednesday, June 20, from 6-8 p.m., with his celebration of life following at 8 p.m. in the chapel of Jones Mortuary, with Robert Jones officiating.
His interment will be Thursday, June 21, at 10 a.m. at Sunset Cemetery in Clinton, with full military honors.
