Oak Ridge work crews will continue smoke testing the sanitary sewer system in the Emory Valley area starting Monday and continuing through Friday, June 29, as part of an ongoing system study.

The smoke testing helps find leaks.

The work depends upon the weather, a city press release said. Homes and businesses in the affected area will receive a hand-delivered notice that provides more detailed information.

“Everyone is urged to watch for this notice at their front door and read it carefully,” the release said.

Call the Oak Ridge Public Works Department at (865) 425-1875 for more information.
