More than 340 students graduated from Oak Ridge High School in the Class of 2012, a class size that is about average, school officials said.
The graduation ceremony was held at Blankenship Field on Thursday night.
Strong to severe thunderstorms had been forecast earlier in the day, and threatening clouds gathered overhead about halfway through the ceremony, sending people streaming for the exits.
However, the weather blew over quickly, and the ceremony continued unimpeded.
