Sharon Ann Guymon, age 61, of Clinton, died Monday, Aug. 27, at her home.

She was born June 22, 1951 in Oak Ridge, the daughter of Margaret Josephine Scarbrough Bridges and William Crawford Bridges.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Oak Ridge.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Guymon.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Greg Guymon; sons, Jon Guymon and wife Jana of Kingston, and William Guymon of Norris; daughter-in-law, Michelle Guymon of Morgan County; sisters, Beverly Taylor and husband Lynn of Clinton, and Carolyn Jones and husband Mike of Cumming, Ga.; brother-in-law, Ken Guymon and wife Tracy of Oak Ridge; sister-in-law, Shirley Guymon of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Edward Brownfield of Paducah, Ky., Noah and Joe Guymon of Kingston, and Koby and Tyler Guymon of Gaffney, S.C.; and nieces and nephews, Dominy and Cody Guymon of Houston, Texas, Cheri Guymon of Knoxville, Mason, Morgan and Mickinnon Guymon of Oak Ridge, Mark Taylor and wife Laura of Clinton, Eric Taylor and wife Kim of Powell, and Michael Paul Jones of Baton Rouge, La.

The family will receive friends Friday, Aug. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary. The funeral will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Dennis Mullen officiating.

The family asks that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
